Our Consultants
Lisa Matthews BSN, MPH, CHE
I built Maylis because organizations were asking for something different: grounded expertise, thoughtful partnership, and solutions that actually work in practice.
My career began at the bedside in critical care and emergency nursing in Canada, where I developed a deep respect for quality, safety, and the realities of frontline care. Over time, my work expanded into leadership, education, and consultancy across Canada, the UK, the Middle East, and Asia. Those experiences shaped how I approach every project: with curiosity, cultural humility, and a strong belief in the people doing the work.
Today, I help organizations strengthen workforce and service models, improve palliative and long-term care, and navigate complex system-level projects that need clarity, structure, and practical follow-through.
One principle guides all of my work: meaningful change lasts when the people delivering and receiving care are part of shaping it. This keeps the work grounded, respectful, and focused on what truly improves care.
